Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) for hosting and as a Content Delivery Network (CDN). All traffic passes through Cloudflare's network for security and performance.
International transfer: Cloudflare is based in the US. Data transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), under which Cloudflare is certified. EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) serve as an additional safeguard.
Retention: Server logs are stored by Cloudflare for a maximum of 72 hours.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure delivery of the website).
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic website usage statistics. This service is privacy-friendly: no cookies, no personal data. Only aggregated, anonymous statistics are collected.

3. Data Collection
Server Logs
Each page visit automatically collects technical data: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, time of access, IP address, and hostname.
Retention: Server logs are automatically deleted after 7 days.

Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each newsletter email.
Retention: Until you unsubscribe. Your email is deleted immediately after unsubscription.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent).
4. Your Rights
Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected. For analytics consent, use the cookie banner at the bottom of the page.

6. Analytics (PostHog)
We use PostHog (PostHog, Inc.) as our analytics tool to understand how visitors use our site. PostHog is hosted on EU servers (eu.posthog.com).
Data collected: page views, click behavior, device information (browser, OS), approximate location (country/region), time on site, and referrer.
Consent required: PostHog is only loaded after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by changing your cookie preferences.
